“Beneficenza Di Vaio” auctions resume for new season
As the new Serie A season got underway, the Beneficenza Di Vaio project also kicked into gear. The project – supported by Bologna team manager Marco Di Vaio – raises funds for a range of charities.
The project will make use of a series of weekly auctions of the players’ shirts and other items made available to Marco Di Vaio on a dedicated E-bay page. At the moment, the initiative is raising funds for the Bimbo Tu charity so that it can complete its “dream room” project whereby the charity redecorates the rooms of disabled children according to their personal preferences. This will help them to relax in a nicer environment and better confront their illnesses.
The two items to go under the hammer this week will be Mattia Destro’s shirt and Ladislav Krejčí’s shirt from #BFCCrotone.
Each auction will last for seven days and have an initial asking price of €1.
The Beneficenza Di Vaio Facebook page is up and running and will provide regular updates on the status of the week’s auction.
