Bologna Fc 1909 and Macron present new Home and Away kits for 2018-19

Bologna Fc 1909 and Macron, the club’s historic sponsor and a leader in the world of team wear, can reveal the new “Home” and “Away” shirts for the 2018-19 season. Shirts will go on sale straight away at the Bologna FC 1909 Official Store at the Stadio Dall’Ara, the BFC online store and on Macron’s website. As of tomorrow, the shirts will also be made available at all Macron Stores, while on July 2nd they’ll be on sale at all authorised locations.

The new “Home” shirt features four vertical red and blue stripes, while on both the front and back are vertical white pinstripes. The round knitted neckline has a personalised Rossoblu motto on the back: “LO SQUADRONE CHE TREMARE IL MONDO FA”. Under the neck on the back, it reads “BOLOGNA FC 1909”. On the right-hand side of the chest, there is the white Macron logo, while, the club’s badge is present on the left. This year sees the return of the red and blue traditional colours.

The shorts are white, with “BOLOGNA FC 1909” marked on the back. The blue socks have red on the side, with 1909 written in white in the middle. The Bodyfit micromesh allows for greater breathability. Furthermore, the logos and sponsors do not have any seams, therefore, allowing for greater comfort. 

The “Away” shirt, inspired by the second jersey from the 1980-81 season when the team finished seventh under Gigi Radisce, maintains the same characteristics as the “Home” shirt. The primary colour is white, with red and blue horizontal stripes at the top. The V-neck neckline is knitted, while there are two Rossoblu stripes on the sleeves. The shirts numbers will be coloured red, as was the case in the 1980-81 season.

This stylish and historic jersey is matched by innovation, with the craft of the Macron staff shining once again. Working in perfect harmony with their counterparts at Bologna, they’ve created a shirt that “looks to the past with a sense of modernity”, encapsulating the new start that this season will bring.
