Bologna launches in Asia with Rossoblù WeChat and Weibo accounts
After an agreement with partner JBO for the Asian market, Bologna FC 1909 would like to announce the official opening of its first communication channels in China, taking yet another step in the Club’s international growth. In collaboration with Hashtagesport, an English marketing company who already work with a number of European clubs and specialise in supporting the deepening of the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets, Bologna have now launched accounts on both WeChat and Weibo, the biggest Chinese social platforms.
On these new profiles, Bologna will offer a global overview of the Rossoblù world, enriched by content created specifically for the Asian market, offering Chinese fans a direct channel to interact with the team and the city.
Bologna’s Marketing and Commercial Director Christoph Winterling had the following to say: “After the agreement with JBO who officially partnered with Bologna for betting on the Chinese markets back at the start of October, we’re pleased to announce an even further step into the Chinese market today. The opening of WeChat and Weibo channels will allow the Club to communicate directly with fans in China, increasing their numbers and involvement by offering content designed exclusively for the Chinese market.”
