Bologna offers its condolences for the death of Tarcisio Burgnich
Tarcisio Burgnich passed away last night at the age of 82. Born in Ruda (Udine) on 25 April 1939, he was a superb right-back for Inter and the national team. As a coach, he sat in the Bologna dugout in the unfortunate 1981/82 season, which ended, after being succeeded by Liguori, with the team’s first relegation to Serie B. Burgnich had the honour of giving the sixteen-year-old Roberto Mancini his debut with the Rossoblù.
The most heartfelt condolences go to his family from all of Bologna Fc 1909.
