Bologna part of ECA Sustainability Working Group

Bologna FC 1909 has officially become part of the ECA Sustainability Working Group for the 2023 to 2027 period. Over the course of Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 September, Bologna took part in the opening meeting of the ECA Sustainability Working Group organised by the European Club Association in collaboration with UEFA.

The event in Geneva saw a round table and a workshop to actively promote social and environmental sustainability in football to the European clubs. This working group will be instrumental in shaping the future of the European club football landscape and will guide the ECA’s internal position on the role of European football in sustainability issues, whilst exploring the opportunities for growth and change for the members of the ECA and UEFA club competitions.

Representatives from 26 European clubs were present alongside the UEFA Sustainability Team. As Football and Social Responsibility Officer, Clara Simonini was in attendance for the Rossoblù.
