Da Costa also commented on this evening’s 3-0 Coppa Italia win against Crotone:

“We wanted to get back on our feet because we haven’t done enough up to now. We gave everything tonight and got a good victory, but it’s only a small step forwards: we need to do even more and keep concentrating and working hard. We want to overcome the situation we find ourselves in – we didn’t expect to be in this position. We want to improve for both the club and the fans, whose support could be felt tonight. A game like tonight can give you confidence for upcoming league games. It was great to start tonight, but, just like the rest of my teammates, I’m already focusing on Empoli, a match where we want to get the three points.”
