Da Costa: “Too many defeats but we have everything required to do well”

Da Costa made the following comments after this evening’s match: “Safety was the the first objective and we achieved it but there’s now the disappointment of having a poor end to the season with too many defeats. But for some performances during the season, we would have had the chance to finish better. We’re sorry for our supporters and we all feel responsible; now we must look ahead and think positively because when you fall, you get back up. I’ve been in Bologna a long time and I know that there are all the ingredients here to do well. A good ground, fans who will always support us, a strong club and a great president. The defeats will help us grow, whoever stays will have to rediscover that grit that we lacked towards the end of this season.”
