De Leo after the Spal win

Emilio De Leo commented on the team’s dramatic late win against Spal tonight. “We wanted to dedicate this to the Coach and we couldn’t get it wrong in front of such a large crowd,” he said. “We rediscovered the tempo and intensity of Bologna from last season, approaching the game in the right way from the start and always winning the ball back quickly after losing it. All of the guys did well, it wasn’t easy because of how Spal set out. Medel brought balance, he helps the backline and brings the ball out cleanly.”
