Delivery of neonatal respiratory ventilators from ‘Bologna tifa per i bambini (Bologna Cheers for Children)’

The delivery of three neonatal respiratory ventilators purchased thanks to the fundraising campaign ‘Bologna tifa per i bambini’ (Bologna cheers for children) promoted for the third consecutive year by the Bimbo Tu association in collaboration with Bologna was held this morning at the Maggiore Hospital.

The event was attended by Alessandro Arcidiacono – President of Bimbo Tu, Chiara Ghizzi – Director of Paediatrics at Bologna’s Azienda USL (Local Health Unit), Bologna City Councillor for Welfare and Health Luca Rizzo Nervo, and Bologna’s Sports Director Marco Di Vaio, among others.

“I am proud of the success of this third edition of “Bologna cheers for children”. in these years as Bologna together with our fans we have teamed up with Bimbo Tu and its volunteers. This delivery represents an important step, but not the last: there is still a lot to do to help the children in Bologna’s hospitals and our initiatives will not stop here,” said Marco Di Vaio, who then made a comment ahead of Sunday’s challenge at the Dall’Ara against Juventus: “It will be a beautiful match to play, which historically creates a lot of expectation in the city. Despite the defeat in Verona the team is living a positive moment so there is a great desire to take the field and face this match in the best possible way”.
