Di Francesco: “This defeat really hurts”

Following #BFCNapoli on Sunday evening, Federico Di Francesco gave his thoughts on the game in the mixed zone post-match: “It’s a result that hurts because we played really well for the first 70 minutes, against a squad that over the past few years have played the best football in Italy. We are still aware that we have a strong side, despite the anger surrounding this loss. We dropped a bit too deep during the latter stages of the game and the goal conceded took some of the wind out of our sails. I am disappointed because we could have got more from the game. We must focus on the first 70 minutes during which we demonstrated that we can play against anyone.”
