Donadoni praises Rossoblu’s first-half performance
This is what Roberto Donadoni had to say after Saturday’s defeat to Juventus: “The team put in a great performance during the first half but in the second we didn’t do as well in dealing with individuals, duly leading to the equalising own goal. I thought there was a foul for the second goal, while I am also unsure why Rugani wasn’t sent off for the penalty in the first half. It is a shame because at 1-1 we had a great chance to regain the lead through Krafth, but Buffon pulled off a fantastic save. When you go down against a team like Juve it is difficult to come back. I am disappointed for the lads as they deserved a result.”
