Fabbian with the group

Preparations for  Saturday’s match continue at Casteldebole for the rossoblù: today Head Coach Italiano’s side took part in tactical drills and a small match. Giovanni Fabbian, after being subbed on yesterday in the 54th minute with the Italy U21 side, trained alongside his teammates today, as did Tommaso Pobega. Lewis Ferguson took part in an individual training session. The following players are set to return from International duty: Samuel Iling-Junior (90′ with England U21), Michel Aebischer (subbed on in the 81st minute for Switzerland), Dan Ndoye (89′ with Switzerland), Remo Freuler (81′ and a goal for Switzerland), Martin Erlic (81′ for Croatia), Nikola Moro, Lukasz Skorupski, Kacper Urbanski (90′for Poland).

Finally Oussama El Azzouzi underwent surgery for the removal of a cervical hernia, completed by Prof. Pierre Bernard at Bordeaux Hospital: recovery time is scheduled to be around 60 days.

The squad will take part in a training session tomorrow at 11:00 CEST.
