Fenucci: “Too many refereeing mistakes have been made”

Following #SampdoriaBFC on Sunday, Rossoblu CEO Claudio Fenucci said: “Our policy is to always avoid speaking about refereeing decisions, but now, out of respect for our fans and players, that is not possible. The incidents keep occurring and this is just the latest one to happen. It is serious and it cannot continue. To avoid making these huge mistakes referees need help technological help. Us sporting directors need to hold the officials to account, demanding the utmost professionalism and attention. It is not the first time that there have been issues between the extra officials and the referee. Technology must be introduced to help resolve them. The extra official also gave a penalty against us away to Lazio in Rome. If these type of things would have happened to a club of bigger stature, then there would been a bigger deal made. However, after such a long sequence of mistakes, we now simply have to speak out.”
