Happy Birthday Roberto Baggio!

Roberto Baggio is 50 today. The world class player was one of the most loved, admired and discussed players in the recent history of Italian football. Born in Caldogno (Vicenza), he only spent one season with Bologna but it was an important one. During the 1997-98 season in Renzo Ulivieri’s team, he cut off his famous ponytail and scored 22 goals in 30 matches to set a personal record and earn a place in the Italy team for the World Cup in France and relaunch what had already been an extraordinary career.
