Helander signs for Bologna, Cherubin moves to Verona

Bologna Fc 1909 are pleased to announce the signing of defender Filip Helander from Hellas Verona FC. He joins on a one-year loan deal until 30th June 2017 with an obligation to make the deal permanent. Meanwhile, Hellas Verona FC have signed defender Nicolò Cherubin, also on a one-year loan deal until 30th June 2017 with an obligation to make the deal permanent.

Born in Malmö (Sweden) on 22nd April 1993, Helander played for both his local team (71 appearances in the Swedish Allsvenskan plus 12 appearances in Champions and Europa League) and for Verona (24 appearances and 2 goals in the last Serie A campaign). He has made 19 appearances for the Swedish Under-21 national team.
