Introducing Nettuno, our Rossoblù mascot
He made his debut in the Kids’ Stand at the Dall’Ara on 1 February as Bologna came away with a 2-1 triumph over Brescia on the day. With the task of selecting a Rossoblù mascot left up to the children of the Kids Club, they selected a lion, the animal representing virtue and courage on the City of Bologna’s crest, and named it Nettuno after the Fountain of Neptune in the centre of the city.
Wearing a Rossoblù shirt with a number 1 on the back, Nettuno has already taken part in a handful of events for our smallest fans, visiting them at home after the end of lockdown to present them with special kits made by the Club, and will be increasingly present at the Dall’Ara as he gets to know all our fans.
