Kristiansen to Bologna

Bologna FC 1909 is happy to announce that Victor Kristiansen has signed from Leicester City FC until 30 June 2024, the defender joins the Club on loan with an option to buy.

Born in 2002, Victor becomes the sixth Danish footballer in the Club’s history. He is a left-back defined by a remarkable running ability and his physical impact on the game. Among the best players to come out of the Kobenhavn youth system, he stands out for his special set of offensive skills, being particularly generous with the ball and often sitting deep to wait for the cross. After winning the Superligaen title in 2022 with Kobenhavn, he made his debut in the Champions League, attracting the attention of many European clubs. Last January he moved to the Premier League to play at Leicester City for a record fee, making him the most expensive Danish footballer of all time. His first appearances in England earned him the immediate approval of the fans, for example, he played a part in the big win over Tottenham and was voted man of the match. Meanwhile, after progressing through the Danish youth national teams, he made his senior debut two months ago in a draw against Slovenia.
