Here’s what Roberto Donadoni had to say about the draw with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. “It hurts to concede a goal in the 96th minute from a dubious penalty even if we made things harder on ourselves with some naivety. It was still a spirited performance and the boys showed character, especially those who haven’t played as much so far. These are things that don’t do anything other than make me happy. Sure, it would have been better to go home with three points and it’s true that they could have scored earlier but for it to end like that leaves a bitter taste. That’s how it went and now we have to move forward with this character.”
