Matteo Angeli signs in!

Bologna Fc 1909 are pleased to announce that defender Matteo Angeli has joined the club on a permanent deal from Imolese Calcio.

The 19-year old central defender is right-footed, has a strong build and possesses a good passing technique, allowing him to start plays off from the back. Matteo came through the ranks at AC Milan before moving to Serie C side Imolese two summers ago. In his first full season in the league, he got lots of minutes under his belt playing almost the whole of the second part of the season. He became a main fixture in the back four last season, and even had the satisfaction of bagging himself seven goals, including a double against Grosseto. In the two playout games against Pistoiese, that saved Imolese from relegation, he was asked to play on the right flank, showing his flexibility. As of July 2022, he is now a Rossoblù player.
