It was important for me to score; I’ve struggled for form and played less than I would’ve liked recently but I worked hard and this has been repaid with a goal, which I hope is the first in a series of many. In our last three games, we lacked that killer instinct; today, we showed that we are a united group. This win was the best response possible to these last three games. It’s nice to end the year on a high; we’ll start 2022 full of confidence. We hope it’s a big year for us.”
