Roundabout named after Amedeo Biavati in San Donato

Together with Club Manager Marco Di Vaio, Amedeo’s daughter Daniela Biavati and the writer Fabio Campisi who wrote a biography on the ‘inventor of the stepover’, Council member for Sport Matteo Lepore and the President of the San Donato zone Simone Borsari, a roundabout was named in honour of the Rossoblu legend Amedeo Biavati this morning. A Bologna star in the 1930s and 1940s, he won the Scudetto three times with the club and a World Cup with Italy. For Bologna, he made 278 appearances and scored 71 goals between 1933 and 1948.
