SARTORI EXTENDS HIS CONTRACT UNTIL 2027

Bologna FC 1909 is pleased to announce the contract extension of the Technical Director Giovanni Sartori, until 30 June 2027.

President Joey Saputo explained, “The contract extension of Giovanni Sartori ensures the continuation of a technical project that has achieved excellent results over the course of a number of years. I am happy to continue this collaboration with a director who has show great competency and ability during his career, as well as someone who fits in perfectly with the reality of our club and the city”.

Chairman Claudio Fenucci added, “This renewal is part of our organisational plan and commitment to maintaining this team’s position as a team which competes at the highest levels. The work of Giovanni and that of the entire sporting structure has enabled us to make the jump in quality, which was part of our plan. I’ve known Giovanni for a long time and during these two and a half years, he has created a gratifying human relationship with the people he has collaborated with”.

Giovanni Sartori stated, “I am very happy and honoured to continue my work here at Bologna. For me, it is a wish that has come true and it represents the desire to continue on this path. During these two and a half years, I have managed to help with a project that has been creating a lot of satisfaction, with the help of every component of the club. I’d like to thank President Joey Saputo for the trust that he has placed in me, the Chairman Claudio Fenucci and all of the staff and collaborators of Bologna, with whom we have formed a united and close-knit team. I also want to thank the city of Bologna and all of the fans who welcomed me with affection right from the first day, showing trust and passion and allowing me to always feel at home. Forza Bologna!”.
