Verdi: “The red card shaped the game”

Simone Verdi was one of the Bologna players to look back on #PalermoBFC after the match.  “The red card certainly shaped the game,” he said. “We had to cover the pitch with one midfielder less and it wasn’t very easy to get forward. We were able to do so a few times and it’s a shame that we weren’t able to score. I myself missed a great chance by connecting poorly with my header from a brilliant ball. I wasn’t expecting a season like this, we’ll continue to play each match giving our all. Results will always be a result of this. Personally, I’m  in good shape. I always look to train at my hardest to improve my condition further.”
